It feels like it’s taken forever to get N64 games in stock, but it’s finally happening.
Nintendo 64 is weird. And I’m not just talking about the weird trident controller. The market itself is quite different from NES and SNES, which have been relatively easy to find inventory for. Makes sense, really. The NES and SNES both had about 700 games released in the USA. The N64, with its complicated architecture and dinosaurian refusal to adopt CD technology released just under 400. When you adjust for EA Sports and other generic shovelware, there’s not much left.
So a lack of supply, coupled with a considerable demand, has made building an N64 inventory costly and time consuming. You’ll notice there are only a few titles currently in stock, but more are already on the way and will be added to the shop very soon.
For now, I hope you’ll browse our handful of N64 games, along with the hundreds of NES and SNES titles already available, and tell your friends about the site.
