Y’know, the niche market of retro video games and console sales is surprisingly competitive. If you found us via Google, the odds are pretty high that you picked this site from among our competitors because the prices here are much lower. In some cases, much much lower.

So why are we so cheap?

Well, I could give you the marketing spiel about how we want to make retro gaming accessible to whoever is interested. For love of the hobby. And that would be accurate, but obviously it’s not the whole story. We have low prices because the operation is so small. We don’t have warehouse space to pay for. It’s a family-run business with no employees to pay. We don’t dump much into marketing because we don’t have the inventory to handle huge numbers and getting swamped with orders would backfire terribly.

For now, we’re working toward the very capitalistic goal of increasing market share and brand awareness. If cheap prices get customers to try us out, then we don’t mind breaking even for the first few years. As the company grows, though, we will be forced to increase prices eventually. Once we need that warehouse space and employees.

Please note that the console and game are original (or more than 30 years old). That means you’ll likely see some minor wear on the game, controller and console.
