Retro Review: Gyruss for NES

Top 4 Female Protagonists in NES Games

If you comb through the NES catalog, you’ll find very few actual female protagonists. There are plenty of women getting captured, needing rescued, offering healing and all that stuff. But sadly, there are very few true, playable female leads.

Honest Review: Blaster Master

Pile on top of that the fact that Blaster Master provides no passwords, no game saving, and only 5 continues. It’s amazing that anybody figured out how to finish the game back before save states and Switch Online’s rewind feature.
